Frequently Asked Questions

Attending the Conference

Q:  Are the conference sessions being streamed via Zoom?

A:  No, we are partnering with a respected event production company who is streaming the event for us. You will not need to download an app. A link to login in to view the conference sessions will be shared via email a few weeks prior to the first day of the event, May 12, 2021.

Q:  My company does not allow Zoom, can I still attend the Conference?

A:  Yes, see answer above.

Q:  Is the Conference being recorded?

A:  Yes. Links to the on-demand recordings will be made available to conference registrants a few business days after the live streaming event concludes.

Technical and System Requirements

Q:  What are the system requirements to view the sessions?

A:  Please see here to view information specific to your system.

CLE

Q: How many CLE credits will I receive for attending RPX Conference 2021?

A: Depending on the duration of your attendance, you can earn up to 5-hours of credit (estimated). Each jurisdiction also has different rounding rules in determining credit calculations. Check your jurisdiction's rule summary for specifics.

Q: When will I receive CLE materials?

A: Registrants can expect to receive a link to download RPX Conference 2021 materials prior to the live event. Materials will be made available during the live event for each session, as well. After the live event, the recording will be made available on the Conference website on-demand where registrants can access materials along with the recording at the same.

Q: When will I receive a CLE Certificate of Attendance?

A: If you attend the Conference live, RPX will record your attendance and you can expect to receive a California COA following the Conference. If you watch the on-demand recording, you will be responsible for tracking your own hours and records of the self-study CLE activity.

Q: Does RPX Conference 2021 satisfy Self-study or Participatory MCLE requirements?
A: Attending the Conference scheduled for May 12-13 will satisfy participatory MCLE requirements as we are monitoring attendees who log on and log off during the Conference.

We are not monitoring attendance for on-demand views, therefore attorneys who miss the live Conference but watch the sessions on-demand may earn self-study credit.

Q: Will RPX Conference 2021 allow me to earn CLE credit for any state?

A: RPX Corporation is an accredited MCLE provider in the State of California. Connecticut, Hawaii, New Jersey, and New York attorneys may earn credit through reciprocity. Accreditation with other States may be available upon request. Please email rpxevents@rpxcorp.com and/or your account representative if you want to inquire about another State. It typically takes 4-8 weeks to process seeking approval with another state.
