Platform System Requirements

Windows Users

  • Microsoft Windows 8 or later
  • Microsoft Edge 12 or later, Firefox® 35.0 or later, or Google™ Chrome 9.0 or later - Broadband Internet connection (3 Mbps or more; 5 Mbps is recommended for optimum viewing)

Mac Users

Linux Users

Browser Permissions

Edge Users

  1. Open Microsoft Edge
  2. Navigate to the website you want to manage
  3. Click the Lock icon next to the website link in the address bar
  4. Click the Site permissions option
  5. Use the drop-down menus to allow or deny permissions (such as location, camera, microphone,  notifications, Adobe Flash, etc.)
  6. (Optional) Click the Reset permissions option
  7. Click the Reset button to restore the default settings
  8. Click the Refresh button on the site to apply the changes

Chrome Users

  1. Open Chrome
  2. At the top right, click More and then Settings
  3. Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings
  4. Click Camera or Microphone
  5. Turn on or off Ask before accessing
  6. Review your blocked and allowed sites
  7. To remove an existing exception or permission: To the right of the site, click Delete
  8. To allow a site that you already blocked: Under "Blocked," select the site's name and change the camera or microphone permission to "Allow"

Safari Users

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, use Websites preferences to customize how you browse individual websites. To change these preferences, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Websites
  2. The settings you can customize (such as Reader and Content Blockers) are listed on the left
  3. To apply a setting to a website on the right, first select the setting, then choose the option you want from the pop-menu next to the website

Firefox Users

  1. Click the menu button and select Options
  2. Click Privacy & Security from the left menu
  3. Scroll down to the Permissions section
  4. Click the Settings button for the Microphone/Camera option
  5. Firefox displays the websites with saved Allow or Block permission
  6. Use the Allow/Block selector to change permission for the website. You can remove the site by selecting it from the list and clicking the Remove Website
  7. Select the Block new requests asking to access your microphone checkbox if you do not want to give any other sites access to your microphone
  8. Click the "Save Changes" button
