Eeva K. Hakoranta is a C-Level Executive and business leader with more than 30 years of experience in the legal and licensing industry with particularly deep knowledge and experience on licensing of standard essential patents. Most recently, she was InterDigital’s Executive Vice President and Chief Licensing Officer, responsible for overseeing the company’s complete licensing portfolio and activities. During her 5-year tenure at InterDigital she helped build a world class licensing team and almost treble the company´s licensing revenue. Prior to joining InterDigital, Ms. Hakoranta served more than 13 years at Nokia holding multiple leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President and Head of IP and Litigation, as well as General Counsel for Nokia Technologies, the company´s licensing arm. Prior to leading all of Nokia’s IP activities, she was influential in building the company’s world class patent licensing team and significantly growing its licensing revenue. Before Nokia, Ms. Hakoranta served in private practice at Roschier Attorneys Ltd in Helsinki, Finland. Ms. Hakoranta holds an LLM from the University of Helsinki.
