Che Chang is Deputy General Counsel at OpenAI where he leads the team that manages legal issues from developing and offering large machine learning models including GPT, Dall-E, and ChatGPT. Prior to OpenAI, Mr. Chang was Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon AI, and earlier in his career, he was a technology attorney at Goodwin Procter, LLP.

Mr. Chang received his JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his BA in Economics at UCLA.
